Hi, I’m Dianne.
I’m an engineer, sustainability professional, and storyteller with a passion for turning ideas into impact. My work spans energy consulting, Forbes writing, writing for PR companies, children’s books, and STEM education, all driven by one goal: helping people and organizations build a more sustainable future.
At heart, I believe knowledge should inspire change. Whether I’m leading an energy audit, writing an article, or sparking curiosity in students, I’m here to create solutions that matter.

My Passions!
I’ve always believed that what you love should leave the world a little better. For me, that means pouring into sustainability, STEM, and writing. Writing is where my head and heart meet, sometimes it’s research and articles, sometimes it’s children’s books that light a spark in young readers, and sometimes it’s poetry that helps me process life and faith.
One of the things closest to my heart is helping kids in rural and inner-city communities see that STEM is for them too. I want them to know it’s more than equations and experiments, it’s a doorway to possibility, opportunity, and futures they may not have imagined yet.
Travel has also become a big part of me. Every new place, every culture, every story reminds me how connected we all are. That’s why I’ve added travel journalism to what I do because I love capturing those experiences and sharing them in ways that inspire others to explore, learn, and care for the world around us.
My career has been shaped by a deep commitment to sustainability, energy, and education. With over 15 years of experience across consulting, government, academia, and the private sector, I’ve had the privilege of leading projects that deliver both environmental and economic impact. From spearheading energy audits that identified millions in savings for Jamaican businesses to modernizing procurement systems at Jamaica Public Service during a critical supply chain period, I’ve always focused on using technical expertise and strategy to drive real results
I believe collaboration is where real impact happens. Current Role
Lead Consultant at STEM Spark Solutions
Today, my work sits at the intersection of sustainability, storytelling, and education. I serve as an energy auditor with the Development Bank of Jamaica and through STEM Spark Solutions, where I help businesses uncover savings and reduce their carbon footprint through detailed energy assessments.
As a Forbes contributor, I create data-driven stories on climate, energy, innovation, and sustainability, while also collaborating with PR companies to bring complex topics to life in ways that engage wide audiences. Beyond energy and writing, I am building a portfolio in travel journalism, documenting how culture, nature, and sustainability connect across the globe. My passion for STEM also continues to shape my journey through outreach events, conferences, and children’s books, I work to inspire young people, especially in rural and inner-city communities, to see STEM as a pathway to opportunity.
